The late N. Scott Momaday, who was a member of the Kiowa Tribe, talks about his identification with bears, and how the "bear power" manifested in him as a writer. Momaday, whose novel, "House Made of Dawn," won a Pulitzer Prize in 1969, was the first indigenous writer to win a Pulitzer. He spoke with Idaho Public Television host Marcia Franklin in 1996.
