The Philippines Opens Doors For Adventure For Expats 🇵🇭🏍️
One thing I’ve learned about life in the Philippines is that it’s okay to change direction. Many of us spent years in the West working hard just to keep up with bills, responsibilities, and daily stress. Sometimes we never even had the chance to discover what we were truly passionate about because survival always came first.
But living in the Philippines can completely change that.
Lower daily expenses can create opportunities that many expats never imagined possible. Suddenly there’s room to explore new hobbies, travel more, meet new people, and chase adventures that once felt out of reach. Sometimes our passions grow over time, and sometimes we discover brand new ones we never expected.
In this video I talk about how my own interests are expanding and why adventure riding has become such a big part of my life here. I also break down a major decision I’m trying to make:
Do I build the moto van setup I really want and buy the dirt bikes I’ve been dreaming about… or do I keep things simple and settle for a dual sport bike that can handle both road riding and trails?
I go over the pros and cons of each option, the costs, the freedom each setup offers, and why this decision is harder than it sounds.
