Every month, Ireland’s homelessness figures make headlines — but the official numbers only tell part of the story.
With more than 17,400 people in emergency accommodation, Ireland AM’s Tommy Bowe spent a night with a local charity to see the reality behind Ireland’s homelessness crisis.
He met people experiencing homelessness, rough sleeping, couch surfing, and sleeping in cars — each with their own story of how they ended up without a safe place to call home.
We’re delighted to hear that JP, one of the people featured, has since secured full-time work in construction.
