The Patient Wild is a newly formed 'acoustic/folk/rock' 5 piece from the Berkshire area. They compromise:
Stu -- Vocals, Acoustic Guitar
Ben -- Acoustic/Electric Guitar, Mandolin
Jen -- Piano
Iain -- Drums
James -- Bass
The fact they have been together for only a few months is misleading when you hear the massive sound, and tight song construction they bring to the table.
With influences ranging from Damien Rice and Josh Ritter, to Biffy Clyro and Sigur Ros, they are a little bit like all of these and none of them. They have a unique take on the folk/rock sound, and they play it with pride.
With a heavy influence from maritime adventures, each song tells a powerful story of love, betrayal, pirates and the stormy seas, and culminates in a sound like nothing on the scene at the moment.
