Is your faith built on the rock that is Christ or sand? Jesus’ parable on the wise and foolish builders is a summary of what He said before and a warning that there will be many who believe they are ‘christians’ because of their works, but in reality, never knew Him.
These were not living in the will of God. Both the wise and foolish builders face the same storms in life…those storms test the genuineness of our faith. The true disciple will stand to the end, but the one who doesn’t belong to Christ will fall and hear the words, ‘depart from me, I never knew you’.
