Hello everyone, and welcome to my channel!
In today’s video, I’m playing The Outer Worlds 2 on CachyOS. I’m using the Minisforum Ai X1 Pro, which features a Radeon 890M and a Ryzen 9 HX370. The Outer Worlds 2 runs out of the box on Linux, but the performance on my hardware was inconsistent. As a result, I ended up using XeSS 2.1 with XeSS Frame Generation and medium settings. I recorded the outdoor area instead of the intro, which is primarily indoors, because the outdoor performance is more demanding. With the settings I am using, I'm almost able to achieve 60 FPS. However, with VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), the gameplay feels smooth.
