Hello everyone, and welcome to my channel.
In today's video, I am testing FidelityFX Super Resolution on Linux in Cyberpunk 2077 at 3440x1440 medium settings. FSR on Linux Only works in Vulkan games (dxvk and vkd3d-proton included). Using fshack works (not all games) when you select a lower resolution in-game. Obviously applying FSR to the final image is not ideal, it should be applied before the UI is drawn. In Cyberpunk the UI is very minimal, so I don't see an issue with that, and after applying FSR the picture definitely looks better than 2646x1108, but not as sharp as native 3440x1440. The reason I picked 1108p is because that's pretty much what AMD uses for Ultra Quality. Some shimmering is present with FSR, especially if you look at the car radio during the gameplay footage, but the performance uplift is worth it in my opinion.
