Hello everyone and welcome to my channel.
In today's video, I am testing PBO, ECO mode and 4.6GHz all-core on a Ryzen 7 5800x in a few games at 1080p medium settings. On a modern Ryzen CPU all core of isn't the best idea, because the single-core boost is much higher than the set max frequency, but I was curious in games how it will perform compared to PBO and the ECO mode. Performance is pretty much the same in the tested games, but the temperature is lower on an all core set-up. Personally, I use ECO mode, but I can see myself tune a setting for an all-core frequency, and use it in games and video editing.
I used 1.275v for 4.6GHz, and Curve Optimizer was enabled in the other two, on a core basis.
