Go onboard with George Russell's Grand Prix winning Mercedes W16 for a lap around the Balatonring, formerly planned venue of the 2010 Hungarian motorcycle Grand Prix.
The Balatonring was to be a 4.65km circuit located on the western side of the Lake Balaton, the opposite side of the new Balaton Park Circuit. The track never saw the light due to the 2008 global economic crisis-related problems and the construction work hasn't done in time for the MotoGP weekend, planned for September 20th 2010. The venue was replaced by the Alcaniz racetrack, Motorland Aragon.
"The 15-turn track layout of the Balatonring has two fast sectors with mainly long-radius sweeping corners and a central one slightly slower, with tighter chicanes in sequence, where it will be quite challenging to keep an ideal line. It also offers, though, hard braking zones and long straights that are suitable for wheel-to-wheel action."
