The Order 1886's story edited into a movie. There have been a number of strange murders in Whitechapel. Follow the mysterious Order of Her Majesty's Royal Knights as they investigate these deaths, and the conspiracy surrounding them in this alternate take on history.
If you are unfamiliar with my work, I record footage from video games, and then edit that into movies. The goal is to create something that actually feels like a Hollywood movie, rather than just a compilation of cutscenes or gameplay. I want people to be able to enjoy the movie whether they've played the game or not, or even if they don't play video games at all. Even if you've played the game, watching it as a movie can allow the viewer to experience the story in a way they never have before. When you play a game, you often play across multiple game sessions for several hours, but if you sit down and watch the entire movie in one sitting, the story stays fresh in your mind the entire time. It's quite a different experience.
Many youtubers like to edit together all the cutscenes, but the problem is that misses out on a good portion of the story, as for most games, there's a lot of story told during gameplay sections. My job is to figure out what pieces of gameplay to use to tell that story in a way where there's not too much gameplay distracting from the story, while making sure I don't leave the audience feeling confused because I cut an important moment out. I also need to make sure the story moves along smoothly while this is being done.
Another thing I do that I guarantee no other youtubers do, is remove the HUD entirely, or at least attempt to do so wherever possible, using visual effects. I use Mocha Pro or Photoshop, removing elements frame by frame, when a simple crop/zoom can't be done without cutting too much off the image. This movie had a total of 149 visual effects shots in it.
My next movie will be Assassin's Creed Syndicate, and I plan to begin work on it as soon as possible. Follow my Community on Playstation (user: morhinapg) to track my progress on the movie. What I do after Syndicate will depend on when I finish Syndicate. Most likely it will be Uncharted 4, but if I finish fast enough, I may have time to do Assassin's Creed Liberation before that. I will let you know in Syndicate's video description.
As always, if you enjoy the movie, support the developers and buy the game!

![God of War [2018] (The Movie)
The story of the 2018 God of War game, edited into a movie. Kratos and his son, Atreus must journey across the world of Norse mythology in order to fulfill a promise...
Sorry about all the technical difficulties in getting this released on time. Thankfully, everything is fixed now!
For those of you unfamiliar with my work, I take the stories of video games and attempt to turn them into movies that would be enjoyable and understandable whether you play the game or not. Where some people may just compile cutscenes, I realize that is simply not enough information to understand the story, so I include as much gameplay as necessary to avoid plot holes and keep the story flowing nicely. I also try to, whenever possible, treat myself like the director, camera operator, and actor. While not always possible, I try to play as if I were on a movie set, rather than just playing a game the way I normally would. If walking is more appropriate, I slow down. If certain camera movements might look better than just whipping the camera around, I try to do that whenever possible. If the character wouldnt actually know where to go next, I try to control their movements as if they were figuring it out, even though I already know what to do.
I also focus on removing elements on screen that make it super obvious that youre watching it a game instead of a hollywood movie, such as button prompts, gameplay objectives, chapter titles, etc. Some of these Im not always able to remove, but I removed nearly every button prompt, and most gameplay objective boxes as well. I was able to remove a few, but not most chapter titles, simply because they covered a large portion of the center of the screen. Immersive mode in the settings helped a lot, but I did need to utilize visual effects and other editing techniques to remove the rest.
This was a much bigger process than I expected it to be. The movie ended up being quite long, and there were a lot more button prompts and other things leftover that I wanted to remove to ensure the most cinematic experience possible. This project required nearly 500 VFX shots, spanning over 50,000 frames total. I worked on this movie for 4 months, which was one of my longest movie projects to date.
If you like the movie, please support the developers if you can by buying the game, and make sure to subscribe so you are able to know when I upload a new movie. If youre interested in supporting me further, I also have a Patreon here:
