The Outer Worlds is a pretty good game, all things considered. However, is it actually the 'Bethesda killer' that many people are billing it as? And what would that actually say about the state of western RPGs? What's more, is there anything Bethesda RPGs still do that can give them an edge over Obsidian, The Outer Worlds, and the rest of their peers if they can get their act together in the future?
