Billy Cardigan got to go Behind the Gear with The Ocean Blue ahead of their Underground Arts show in Philly before he slipped into his tragic Sleep Apnea induced coma. He talked with the Dave Schelzel, Oed Ronne and Bobby Mittan in an interview about the pedals and gear they use to make the jangle pop music that they made. Including pedals such as chorus pedals, reverb pedals along with may more, the Ocean Blue used those pedals to make the music that they made, and it was good.
Due to a technical mishap some of the pedals were not filmed, so Billy Cardigan drew them on paper to the best of his memory to provide a visual representation of their image.
