Featuring the Soul Rebels and inspired by the joyful music of New Orleans, “Simple Life” is a testament to the simple pleasures – a song about taking what’s yours and being proud of it. "I came up with the groove and idea for the title and some of the lyrics when I was living in the woods by myself during the pandemic, asking myself what I really wanted from life," says Nate Edgar. "The basic groove came from blending a New Orleans-type clave beat and putting it in a different time signature."
