Dont get me wrong, I couldve easily beaten him within an hour if I used better equipment, but Ive already come this far on my unintended Peashooter Only No Charms run so its kinda too late to back out now.

The part from 01:14:30 - 01:15:05 where I went back to the map and jumped around in the stage for no reason was me remapping my controller so that the dash and charge shot were on the shoulder buttons instead of the face buttons, because having to constantly use 3+ face buttons at once really cramps up my right hand. Its an issue Ive been having this entire playthrough but that run-and-gun stage was the breaking point.

So to explain some of the things I talk about:
- For my setup at this time, I had my switch connected my laptop via a cheap (like 20$ USD) hdmi-input usbA-output capture card, and to play on my monitor I put up a fullscreened obs preview. All that gave me about a half-second of gameplay lag, which is why I didnt try to play any sub-games or challenge rooms (I had trouble with the goal game of all things, even if got the timing pretty well by the end). For reference, I played Star Slam Heroes in Star Allies beforehand to test out the delay, and it took me about 5 tries to beat the CPUs (and normally I can get max score easily). Bought an hdmi splitter, hoping thatll let me stream and play on the monitor w/o any notable lag.
- I was testing out some new internet settings, which is why you hear me bring up frame drop rates every 5 seconds. Overall I was dropping around 5-10% of frames, and considering I stream at a pretty high bitrate (6000 kb/s) and at 60 fps, I think thats ok enough to justify keeping the new settings (they help enough in other areas that I would rather have the frame drops than lose the new settings). You shouldnt see any frame drops here on YouTube because I always record locally and upload that rather than the vod from twitch directly.
