The 2026 Huawei AITO M6 is a premium mid-size SUV set to launch in Q2 2026, positioned within the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA) lineup between the M5 and M7. Designed as a tech-focused family SUV, it combines advanced intelligent driving systems with modern electric powertrains. Built on the Seres MF platform, the M6 will be offered in both BEV and EREV configurations, with pre-sale prices starting at around 269,800 CNY for the extended-range version and 289,800 CNY for the fully electric model. Its proportions are well-balanced for the segment, measuring 4,960 mm in length, 1,985 mm in width, and 1,736 mm in height, with a 2,950 mm wheelbase that ensures a spacious cabin.
In terms of performance, the M6 delivers flexibility through its dual powertrain options. The pure electric version uses a 100 kWh battery pack, offering up to 760 km of CLTC range, with rear-wheel drive producing 227 kW or an all-wheel-drive setup delivering 340 kW for stronger performance. The EREV variant pairs a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with either a 37 kWh or 53 kWh battery, providing an electric-only range between 180 and 272 km while significantly extending total driving range. Both variants benefit from an 800V high-voltage architecture, enabling faster charging and improved efficiency for long-distance usability.
Technology is a major highlight of the AITO M6, featuring Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 4.0 intelligent driving system as standard, supported by dual-path 896-line LiDAR for highly accurate sensing and advanced autonomous capabilities. Inside, the SUV offers a premium and futuristic cabin with the HarmonyOS cockpit, a large 26.1-inch wide head-up display, a zero-gravity driver seat, and a 21-speaker 7.1.4 surround sound system. Ambient lighting with 64 colors enhances the atmosphere, while exterior styling is defined by aerodynamic 20-inch wheels and a continuous “Phoenix” LED light bar. Although primarily aimed at the Chinese market, the model is expected to attract global interest through import channels, thanks to its blend of performance, technology, and premium positioning.
