WHAT HAVE THEY DONE?!?!?!? One Thousand Voices finally got a catalyst and it’s the most impactful upgrade any weapon gets. This will turn it partially taken, making its explosions send out additional projectiles and applying blight to your target so they take additional damage over time. This alone will almost DOUBLE its damage passively. No alternate reload, no get a kill beforehand, no artifact mods. It just doubles its damage. But speaking of artifact mods, Particle Reconstruction takes this to a whole other level. This will make it deal even more damage to bosses AND partially reload it as you fire. This is really nice since the reload is pretty long and it’s a little inconsistent but it will sometimes proc after every shot, allowing you to dump its entire 11 ammo reserves without ever needing to reload. This catalyst singlehandedly turned a decent exotic into one of the best if not the best heavy weapon in the game. And I’m so glad it was 1k.
