This weekend I bought a new DAW, since my Cubase kept crashing and the dongle kept "unregistering" and the service of Steinberg is dreadful.
So I decided to buy Reaper. And to give it a full test I chose to record all the parts (as I remember them) from the #neverendingstory theme song.
As an 11 year old, I also really loved this movie!!! And I am an avid fan of the late, Wolfgang Petersen.
#Giorgio #Morodor and Vince DiCola were the reason why I wanted to learn to play/compose synthesiser music as an 11 year old.
I realise that Giorgio is influence comes back in most of my melodies.
I also recorded a real guitar solo to also test Reaper's audio recording/mixing abilities. And I am VERY PLEASED WITH REAPER!
The arpeggios were step recorded, using Reapers step record, playing my #DeepMind 12
Leads and Pads come from the #MODX
Drums come from LinDrum sample pack and SITALA
Bass is a triple layer of Prophet8, DX7 (vst)
