"No big production values. Just me and my guitar. Hope you like it" - Stephen
Stephen spent a decade as the cantor at St. James' Cathedral, Toronto where he met many celebrities including Desmond Tutu, Queen Elizabeth and other members of the royal family.
He'll regularly be singing Victorian/Edwardian era songs (mid 1800's to early 1900's) at the Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum's Doon Heritage Village starting in summer 2026.
THE NAP SONG
When the world is wearing you down,
And it's just too much to face,
Leave the tiring stress behind,
And visit a peaceful place.
I'll sing you a lullaby,
Bring a pillow for your head,
Cover you with a comforter,
On a sofa or a bed.
Go to sleep and drift away,
A nap is what you need today.
Close your eyes and say goodnight,
Sweet dreams for a little while,
Head off to the Land of Nod,
And wake up with a smile.
I'll sing you a lullaby,
Bring a pillow for your head,
Cover you with a comforter,
On a sofa or a bed.
Go to sleep and drift away,
A nap is what you need today.
