March 1945. In the Hungarian countryside, a German convoy moves through the darkness.
They are the Waffen-SS - Hitler's elite fighters. But their uniforms are missing the distinctive SS runes. The skull insignia - gone. Every unit patch carefully removed, even license plates have been painted over. They move under fake unit names, using false radio traffic.
This is Hitler's final card: Operation Spring Awakening. Six SS Panzer divisions - the Reich's last mobile reserve. Instead of defending Berlin, they are here, 400 miles from the collapsing Reich. They are coming for Hungary's oil fields, the fuel that will power Germany's resurrection.
The Waffen-SS has never failed Hitler before. Not in Poland. Not in France. Not as they were outnumbered in Russia. Nothing can stop them.
Unless the spring rains begin two weeks early.
