New song, new video concept.
Releasing lyric videos is a common practice for musicians, but what are instrumental artists to do?
Well, an instrument is a voice.
And just like a singer, what it says isn't always clear.
So, I would like to introduce you to the Instrumental Lyric Video Series, where the intention or theme of the instrument is given verbal form. Just like a regular lyric video, you can follow along with the intended meaning for each part of the song.
The first song in this video series is called The Movement of Progress. More than anything, this song is a celebration of achieving personal goals. Improving something can seem like a never-ending process. What we don't notice is all of the very small changes that happen along the way. Big change happens slowly over time. But at some point, you realize that you have reached your goal, and that is a profound feeling. In this video, you will see how I try to draw some of these elements out with my playing.
