Today I watched a very interesting interview with George Babiniotis, a Greek linguist and philologist, who said that these were the 3 phrases young Greeks used the most in 2025.

“Εννοείται” (of course), “Μην αγχώνεσαι” (don’t worry), and “Ισχύει” (that’s true) are expressions Greeks use every day to agree, reassure, or confirm something.

As we move into 2026, it’s interesting to see how language reflects everyday life and culture.
