In today’s video, we’re taking a walk through my neighborhood in Thessaloniki and learning essential Greek vocabulary. We’ll practice using the Greek verbs υπάρχει (there is) and υπάρχουν (there are) along with prepositions of place. This lesson is perfect for beginners, and to make it even easier, Greek and English subtitles are available!

As we walk, I’ll point out different places around the neighborhood, so you can learn how to describe what you see in Greek. By the end of the video, you'll be able to talk about what’s around you and where things are located – skills that are super useful for navigating everyday situations in Greece.
