Guy Ritchie threw his signature comedy in the trash to make a heist movie that secretly thinks it is a Spaghetti Western. Remaking an intimate French thriller, he replaced the vulnerable, grieving father with Jason Statham, creating a cold revenge story driven by pure testosterone.
