The way we talk about food matters - whether it’s to our friends, family, or little sister.

Pre-teen girls are at especially high risk for developing disordered eating, and those beliefs often start with seemingly “small” comments at home. The focus should never be on “good vs. bad” foods, calories, or body shaming. Instead, let’s help kids build trust in their bodies and understand that food is fuel - not something to fear.

If you want more support navigating these conversations, I have a webinar all about raising healthy eaters and talking to kids about food, weight, and nutrition in age-appropriate ways. 💛
