In this video, we are looking at troubling patterns from T.D. Jakes, Marc House, Keion Henderson, and Archbishop William Hudson — not to attack people personally, but to examine the teachings, methods, and spiritual manipulation that often happen in the name of God.
The Bible warns us repeatedly that not everyone who uses the name of Jesus is faithfully representing Jesus. Some preachers can move a crowd, stir emotions, raise money, make people shout, and sound powerful — yet still be leading people away from biblical truth.
This is why discernment matters.
When preaching becomes more about performance than repentance, more about money than the gospel, more about hype than holiness, and more about personality than Christ, souls are in danger. A preacher can have a big platform, a famous name, a packed church, and millions of views — but that does not mean they are preaching the truth.
Jesus said:
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.”
— Matthew 7:15
That warning still matters today.
In this video, we will examine clips and teachings involving T.D. Jakes, Marc House, Keion Henderson, and Archbishop William Hudson, and ask serious questions:
Are they preaching Christ or themselves?
Are they calling people to repentance or emotionalism?
Are they rightly handling Scripture or twisting it?
Are they shepherding souls or manipulating people?
Are they pointing people to the cross or to money, status, power, and man-centered promises?
The goal is not gossip. The goal is discernment.
Too many people sit under preaching that sounds spiritual but is spiritually dangerous. They hear phrases like “God is about to bless you,” “your season is coming,” “sow this seed,” “touch your neighbor,” “favor is on your life,” and “God told me” — but they rarely hear about sin, repentance, the holiness of God, the wrath to come, the finished work of Christ, justification by faith, or the call to deny yourself and follow Jesus.
That is not a small issue.
Bad preaching does not just waste your time. It can deform your view of God, weaken your discernment, confuse your understanding of salvation, and make you dependent on personalities instead of Christ.
The church does not need celebrities in pulpits. The church needs faithful men who tremble at the Word of God.
