It isn't often I'm asked to review something seriously, mostly due to my tendency to make endless irrelevant comments, but here's an honest opinion (gasp!) of The Milk of Ultra Violet, a game whose author has grand designs.
This is a game created by a fellow multimedia artist and video-maker to whom I am subscribed, namely this bloke:

It's still in the development stages but the demo is definitely playable. You can try it out for yourself here:

After Collies definitive review of the Speccys Advanced Lawnmower Simulator (AKA Advanced Lawnmowing Simulator, or just Lawnmower Simulator), I promised myself I wouldnt make any more videos of the game. But when I discovered an Amstrad version, I couldnt *not* give it a go!
Its a fairly faithful port, this. I find it just as hard as ever to earn that most coveted of video game rewards: the corned beef sandwich, and you can still get exploded by leaving your malfunctioning mower out in the rain. Blooming budget brands - thats the last time I do my electronics shopping at PoundSava.")

Often dubbed the Worst Amstrad CPC Game of All Time, but should really be the Hardest CPC Game of All Time. After all, it *was* made by Indescomp, a company notorious for their difficult Amstrad CPC titles. Though to be fair, they did get that reputation from The Galactic Plague. Are you getting the message yet?
Apparently terribleness is a real word. Oh, and I swear I dont wish to make a catchphrase of this is quite advanced for the Amstrad CPC...

Welcome to Plaque Attack, a dentist simulator in the form of an Atari space shooter. Your ship, a miniature tube of toothpaste, is tasked with defending a giants mouth from the advances of floating aliens resembling burgers, ice cream cones and... cassettes with hair?
A relatively simple challenge at first, it all gets rather frantic as the mutant doughnuts and candy canes flying at you from all directions become increasingly slippery. One must utilise all ones super-sharp Atari joystick reactions to eliminate all threats before the monsters teeth are rotted to mere stumps to leave him quite literally toothless. Presumably the giant then swallows your ship in a fit of rage before purchasing a new set of gnashers and allowing you to do it all again with a new tube of toothpaste.
You can earn yourself extra teeth, to be surgically implanted in a matter of milliseconds, every couple of thousand points to extend your game just that bit longer so you can experience the thrill of evil sandwiches and Glacé cherries being flung at you in Space Invader-esque fashion.
Not quite as fun as Fast Food, a similarly food-related title on the TV Boy, but certainly a novel little idea that at least *attempts* to deviate from the usual Aliens From Planet X Atari fare. Except it doesnt really, because replace the tooth sprites with buildings and its just like War of the Worlds. The sound effects are pretty stock, and not really reflective of squirting toothpaste or exploding Christmas puddings, which is a bit of a pity. Nevertheless, it earns Brownie points for fighting a noble cause against the serial (cereal?) killer that is tooth decay.")

Timecop sold exactly two copies. The first retired to become a doorstop after one play, while the second, yellowed by tea stains, was bought by local idiot Harry Yack for £2. Still, it was worth it to see JCVD jump around like Luigi from Super Mario Bros. 2.

Hypocrites Corner: examining why it is silly to lambaste other peoples games when my own are a million times worse. Except this isnt mine, but one I have a personal connection to.
Its hard to categorise this video, really. It begins as a rant against YouTube lets players in general, then lapses into a review before finishing with the strongest of anti-review sentiment you could ever find this side of Tumblr.
(By the way, I always used to call that site TumblARR because I like reading spelling errors verbatim.)

As mentioned in the video, the best thing you can do is try it for yourself and ignore idiots on the internet who base their opinion of a game on five minutes worth of gameplay.
