I’ve never really been a fan of micro or mini RC rock crawlers.
They usually don’t handle right, don’t respond like bigger rigs, and just never felt… right to me.
But winter is here ❄️ — and indoor crawling becomes a thing.
And then this happened… 👀
The SCX30 is honestly changing my mind about micros. Not because it’s “cute” or tiny — but because it actually works. The suspension, geometry, and overall engineering feel better than any micro crawler I’ve driven before.
The real surprise?
👉 It’s the perfect scale for LEGO terrain and courses 🧱🧗♂️
Suddenly micro crawling makes sense.
This thing has real suspension movement, real traction, and legit crawling behavior — just scaled down. If you’ve written off micros like I did, this one might make you rethink things too.
