I've said before that the original Matrix was probably the greatest special effects film ever made. When you combine that with the excellent writing, the franchise could've been one of the biggest in movie history. But the sequels, Reloaded and Revolutions, weren't quite able to deliver on their great ideas.
So I looked at the films, and decided to try putting them into a simpler plot, with some other changes, that might show how powerful simplicity and clarity can be in storytelling.
People seem to like when we do these alternate takes on movies, so hopefully you enjoy this one!
