How to make a chorus pop when you only have the stereo file.
Most engineers struggle to lift a small chorus in mastering because they think they can't touch individual elements. You can. You just have to do it on the mix bus and automate it.
Here's the move. On the chorus only, automate a 0.5 to 1dB lift between 8 and 12k. Then add a small width lift if the track can take it. The chorus opens up without touching the verse, the bridge, or anything else in the mix.
Same stereo file. Bigger chorus.
