For those that are wondering what this is about, this was originally going to be a complete remake of the original video, but I decided to go a bit overboard with adding pretty much anything else I can find. In other words, to have a slightly more accurate showcase of all the horns used on Amtrak since ’71 when it was first launched.
Note 1: Not all of the horns you hear in this video were actually used on Amtrak’s locomotives, but some of them (like the E and F units for example) were used as references to give you the idea of what they would’ve sounded like if they did.
Note 2: I seem to have forgotten to include the Flexliner, which was a Danish built test train for Amtrak. Sorry I didn’t include that.
