The lone hero, a morally ambiguous person who is driven by society to go against the grain and help the weak - against a backdrop of unexplored nature. Cinematographer Asi Oren joins Gil Kidron to discuss the origins of the Spaghetti Westerns, samurai movies, as well as the actual history of the so-called Wild West and samurais, contrasted to the popular myth.
