The Making of Dido and Aeneas is a film in four parts, documenting an unusual opera production at the University of Gothenburg. Episode three is where all the different parts start coming together. Conductor Henrik Schaefer and the orchestra are rehearsing Purcells music as well as the newly composed works by Raphael and others. Singers and orchestra rehearse together for the first time, things are still a bit shaky – only ten days until the premiere.
