Members of the Late Late Show audience discover that making sausages is harder than it looks.
Sausage maker Michael Scanlan demonstrates how sausages are made.
The sausage meat is propelled through the spout under pressure and it comes out in a long string like so.
Part of the skill is in the linking technique. Lengths of sausage meat are given to audience members Helen, Ronnie and Maureen who have forty five seconds to make some sausages. To their own amusement and that of the audience all three give it a try. Michael Scanlan decides that Ronnie has made the best sausages and goes home with the prize.
