So Mason of @onehandpolitics is breaking down the stunning arrest of one of the figures who helped usher in the Trump era of politics. Once a Breitbart editor and a self-styled "gay conservative" provocateur known for harassment campaigns, anti-immigrant rhetoric and defending some of the most indefensible positions imaginable, Milo got exactly the enforcement regime he asked for.
According to DHS, ICE arrested him at the New Orleans airport after he overstayed the visa he entered on in 2019 and skipped his immigration hearing and he's now in custody pending removal to the UK. Mason walks through Milo's long history of bigotry, his more recent turn against Trump for being "too soft" on immigration and why his arrest is a near-perfect case of voting for the leopards-eating-faces party and then getting your face eaten.
But Mason also makes the point that matters most here.
