The MacBook Neo felt like a trap from the start: 8GB of RAM, and most people grab the 256GB option that fills up fast. Someone commented that they made the mistake of buying the base model with no Touch ID and 256GB, regretted it, and switched to an M2 MacBook Air 13. Good call.
The Neo is Apple's cheapest, but the low RAM and missing Touch ID are real dealbreakers. Older M2 and M3 Airs actually outperform it and have nicer features. The M4 and M5 Air completely destroy it, and they're the better buy if you want it to last.
