It is believed by many that Cadwalon, the king that seized the throne while Bran the Blessed was fighting in Ireland, was the King Cassivellaunus of the Catuvellauni tribe. We look at the Mythology of the Mabinogion and compare this with the historical succession of the kings of the Catuvellauni to see just what the mythology can tell us.
