In this episode we give an overview of lunar eclipses (for the Saros Cycle see the video in the Astronomy Playlist). How do lunar eclipses occur? What are the types of lunar eclipses? Why don't we see one every month?

Note: One point of confusion is my discussion of the 'Eclipse Seasons' being July (summer) and Jan (winter). These refer to RECENT eclipses, the cycle progresses to other months of the year, but they are approximately 6 months apart.
