Either earth's surface is curved or light is curving away from a flat earth to make it looked curved.
This short clip is a preview of a longer, more in-depth analysis of this image that I have composed. It isn't presented as "proof of a globe earth." Rather, it's evidence supporting the appearance of earth surface convexity. Whether or not the earth's surface is actually convex and is shaped like an ellipsoidal globe requires more evidence than just this. The point of this, however, is to demonstrate that this is not what a flat earth would look like without some optical effect to make it look as if on a convex surface.
Many flat earth proponents/globe earth skeptics ask to be shown curvature.
This is what curvature/convexity looks like. If one is honest about seeking truth, this is evidence of curvature. This could still be a flat earth, but would require some mechanism to bend light up and away from the surface of that flat earth to produce this visual appearance. Whether or not earth actually is curving -- or more extensively is a spinning, orbiting globe -- is left for another argument requiring additional evidence. But this is a clear picture of curvature: either surface curving downward or light curving upward.
