While checking out the weather and visibility fro the Shelter Island boat launch facility in San Diego harbor, the US Navy combatant USS Cincinnatti (LCS-20) was rounding the channel. Checking the SD Webcam live video feed from atop the visitor's center at Cabrillo National Monument, I realized my position would be in the camera's field of view. So I used something to try to reflect the mid-morning sun to try to produce a glint or flash for the Webcam to capture.

Distance from camera to me was about 4.2 km. Here's the result.

The flash was much larger than I anticipated. Any guesses how big the reflective object I was using was?
