‘The Locals Told Us Never to Go Past the Creek’ chronicles the unnerving late-night expedition of two lifelong friends who return to a forest from their childhood, one that now feels darker, heavier, and wrong. What begins as a nostalgic hunting trip soon turns strange when a thick, metallic smell lingers in the air, leading them deeper into the wilderness in search of its source.
As they press on, flashes of buried memories mix with the growing sense that something else is out there… watching, waiting, and marking its territory in blood. What they find among the trees will change how they see the forest… and what hunts within it.
