DavesTrumpet | The Little Drummer Boy Trumpet Cover - David Miller @DavesTrumpet | Uploaded December 2014 | Updated October 2024, 3 hours ago.
My version of this truly nostalgic song from childhood Christmases, The Little Drummer Boy. Please enjoy! FREE MP3: soundcloud.com/davestrumpet/the-little-drummer-boy-trumpet
Notes:
I've never played this song before that I can recall, but I've always loved it and how the chords change, where they change. Anyway after lunch today I picked the horn up and it seemed to go right to B-flat (Concert A-flat) playing this song. A few hours later I started thinking about recording it, with strings in the background. Oh, and of course, the drum, me on my old Ludwig parade drum! So here is what I came up with. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did recording it! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! Dave
