Hmm...what to say about this vid...well, it's my entry for THEME #1 in the PYTH Challenge hosted by soupshop [ youtube.com/watch?v=IJVNffgRfg0]. The concept is to make a vid that uses only scenery, landscapes, objects and anything from the human body except for the face. I actually forgot about the challenge and then I found the vid for it again the other day and really wanted to enter.
This song was my first choice just because of how pretty it is. I love Lights music, I've been addicted to her songs for forever now lol I chose the clips that struck me as beautiful when I had watched these TV shows/movies for the first time. I tried to match the lyrics as much as possible. For me, I feel like this is about life and its sadness, happiness and beauty. I didn't plan for it to portray or mean anything while making it, but I was drawn to these particular shots for some reason and I hope the result will have some significance to someone.

I did not use my logo this time as it interfered with the other fonts. So please no stealing.
Well, recently Ive been into 21 Jump Street and the spinoff Booker (I luv Dennis hehe :P). While I was watching the opening credits for Booker one day I realized the theme song was perfect for Castle.
In fact, the character of Dennis kinda reminds me of how Castle might have been at that age, and since Ive always wanted to do a credits mashup (because I enjoy doing trailers) it seemed like a good idea. I also really liked how the original 80s credits were edited, using behind the scenes footage of the actors involved. Its a neat concept. I miss tv shows having openings. Some still do, but more recently the fad seems to be a recap and a title card.
