Abigail (red cat) only truly feels herself with her best friend Maribelle (tuxedo cat). Still, the world expects her to marry a tom, or otherwise be left an old maid. Maribelle seems to understand the charm of toms, and when she falls head over heels for Nolan (siamese), Abigail finds her friend wrested away from her life. Hollow-hearted, she watches as Nolan lives the life with Maribelle she might have had for herself -- if only a molly's love for the fairer sex was held as sacred.
Additional characters: Carlos (tuxedo kitten, son of Maribelle and Nolan), Audrey (calico, younger sister of Abigail). Audrey is the comic's protagonist, and she may have a role in changing this story...
Weeeeeeee I started this in January during winter break but since graduating (yippee!!) I've taken a long break to rest and draw and see friends. So it's nice to have this release during pride month! I don't usually work on long projects like these because most of my time goes to working on the TLD comic, but since I just finished volume 1 (283 pages!!!) I felt I deserved a pause to make this as a thanks to my readers. I'm hoping to to release physical prints by the end of the year! The story covers themes about compulsory heterosexuality and both Maribelle and Nolan are bi.
