The original #LionKing was the film that pretty much nailed home my love of animation, and what undoubtedly pushed me towards animation school in my college days.

Jon Favreau is one of my favourite writers, directors and actors, and when the Jungle Book came out years ago, I thought he did a fairly solid job with remaking a classic. So, with the combination of factors, and Jonny once again working for the blockbuster bazooka #Disney... what could go wrong?

But in my #LionKingMovieReview I look at what happened to the vibrant, emotional and classic film as we now update the cast and the technology... but somehow lose the heart.
