After spending a long time playing with 0 tick mechanics, I managed to compact the lightningbolt 4x4 (which opens in 0.15s) to 1056 blocks, using completely different circuitry!

Its 1 Wide, 13 High and 22 Across. total volume of 286 blocks, 2 blocks smaller than Chrizzs design.

This is a tutorial on the super compact 4x4 piston door I built recently. its 9x12x3, with a total volume of 324 blocks. Its the same size as chrizzs design, but the wiring is at 1 side, its extremely quick, and the top pistons dont flash/dance while the double extender fires.

Yep, theres the much-wanted tutorial then :D
Its a new, smaller design, which I decided to build because:
1: the old design was a huge mess.
2: the old design took way to look for any reaction.
its about the same speed, might be slightly faster to close!
Size: 12x13x4 = 624 Blocks

Bit of a different video today! But this shows the door Ive been working on the past 2 days, and its now done! Yesterday, as of the 11th of november 2012, the first flush 5x5 door was built!
