Welcome to the ECL Middle East 1v1 Ro16, We created these time lapses using our recently announced CaptureAge tool.

If you're excited about the prospects CaptureAge entails, we'd highly appreciate it if you share this around to help make this a permanent part of the AoE2 content landscape. I truly believe this is something incredible for age of empires II and that it that will unlock many possibilities for the community as a whole.

Questions asked from our announcement:
-Will this tool be able to Zoom & pan around?
Yes, however not to full resolutions yet (we're still considering what solution is best)
-Can this be used for live games and tournaments?
Yes, depending on the intended use we're already capable of supporting live tournaments. If it's providing time lapses immediately after a game, we'll be able to do that within a minute or two of the games conclusion. For live full map playback, we can't achieve the same level of smoothness normal game-play can can, only generating a maximum of 3 fps. This frame rate might still be applicable to some extent, however the game is zoomed out roughly 6x meaning that the missed frames would be less noticeable.

If you got any other questions we'd be happy to hear them, besides that we're still looking into ways of making the replays easier to follow with several methods on the cards at this moment.
