Echo Pond feels quiet. Simple. Deeply connected to the land.
Behind that calm exterior is three years of planning, design, approvals, and site work on an 11-acre wooded property. A long water line had to be brought back for fire protection, a bridge had to be built over the wetlands, and every opening in the 100-foot gable form had to be placed with intention.
The result is a Nordic-inspired cabin that feels restrained from the outside, but opens completely to the pond, the trees, and the surrounding landscape. Floor-to-ceiling lift-slide units, exterior pocket doors, flush concrete transitions, skylit bedrooms, and carefully framed views all work together to make the home feel immersed in nature without losing its simplicity.
