Context:
The premise of the Wildcard AU is basically the different main protagonists of some specific games are placed in the Psychonauts (ANOTHER game) universe! (Discussion of the AU is mainly hosted on tumblr and a private discord server.)

Guybrush Threepwood from the Monkey Island franchise, Manny Cavalera from Grim Fandango, Eddie Riggs from Brütal Legend, Nelson Tethers from Puzzle Agent, and Sam and Max from the Sam and Max franchise are all Psychonauts agents!! It seems like a lot of characters to juggle, but they mesh really well together, and the creator of the AU (@GenaLeah on tumblr and other various platforms) has made excellent backstories for the characters that meld with and compliment all the games.
This animatic celebrates those backstories!! (Nelson & Sam/Max’s backstories are not really that changed so they were not included here unfortunately. Of course I say this like this was all planned. nope. I just went insane over these characters and couldn’t stop listening to this song (shoutout Bryan Scary’s amazing music) so I frantically made this animatic/storyboard thing in the span of about 4-5 hours??)
I had a genuinely fun time making this, though, and I hope this hyperfixation lasts a good long while. This AU (and community) really brings out my desire to make art!!!!!
