I knew absolutely nothing going into this series and I ended up watching it all in one setting. I’ve never played Dungeons and Dragons before, but it always seemed like something I’d be interested in. From what little knowledge I do have though, The Legend of Vox Machina’s first season seems like it knocked it out of the park. Granted, I suppose that’s what’s going to happen when the series is based on a pre-existing D&D campaign, but with how many characters, themes, and elements were in this first season, there were plenty of places where it could have gone wrong, and thank goodness nothing did.
