If I’m being completely honest, I really don’t understand why Demon Slayer became such a worldwide phenomenon. The animation is, without a doubt, beautiful, but beyond that, I don’t understand how a film based on a series that only had one season became one of the highest grossing animated films of all time. I’m not saying that Demon Slayer is a bad anime, because it’s far from being bad (and if I didn’t enjoy it, I definitely wouldn’t have taken the time to edit a video for it), but for it to become as wildly popular as it did just confuses me a little bit. I know I’m definitely in the minority here, but who knows, since the Entertainment District dub starts airing tomorrow, maybe I'll grow to love the series as much as everyone else in the world as well!
